Introducing the Interchain Gateway

As part of a new grant initiative, Crypto Factor is developing the Interchain Gateway, a decentralised cross-chain connection between DeFiChain and Polygon. Powered by Partisia Blockchain’s Zero-Knowledge (ZK) attestation services and decentralised storage solutions, this gateway establishes a secure, scalable, and transparent method for moving assets and data between chains.

Unlike traditional “bridges,” which are prone to security vulnerabilities and centralisation risks, the Interchain Gateway operates as its own blockchain, leveraging decentralised storage to maintain integrity and security. This architecture provides a robust foundation for DeFi applications looking to expand across multiple networks without compromising security or efficiency.

Phase 0: Laying the Groundwork

This grant supports the foundational stage of the Interchain Gateway. Phase 0 focuses on operational costs related to deploying and managing this crucial infrastructure. By ensuring stability in this initial stage, Crypto Factor is building a strong base for future expansion.
